Here we go again! Registration is now open for Ivans Connect™, the only conference dedicated to advancing industry connectivity. This year, we’re heading back to the Aria Resort in Las Vegas, bringing the endless excitement of this vibrant city straight to our event.
Ivans Connect is the place to learn about the latest industry trends and innovations in digital distribution and servicing. It offers a unique opportunity to not only maximize your investment in Ivans solutions but also meet and network with a community of insurance industry leaders, technology partners, and peers beyond just connecting through a digital medium. A handshake, swapping news, sharing a meal — all can lead to new business opportunities, a new idea, a quick tip, future efficiency and more.
The event kicks off with a networking reception on Sunday, October 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the main program on Monday, October 6, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This year’s program is set to feature insightful keynotes and interactive sessions centered around important industry topics like commercial lines distribution, AI, download optimization and third-party data usage. (Psst, check out the Ivans Connect Resource Hub for a recap of some of last year’s awesome sessions.)
It's sure to be a great event filled with plenty of learning, networking and fun! But wait; things are about to get even better. We’re bringing five industry powerhouses together under one roof! AUGIE’s fall meeting will be held before Ivans Connect, ACT will lead a discussion during the program, Applied’s annual Applied Net® user conference will pick up once we conclude, and EZLynx will host a rating discussion for carriers.
Events Supporting the Industry
Associations & User Groups Information Exchange (AUGIE) will meet on Sunday, October 5, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to discuss opportunities to bring efficiency to the independent agency distribution channel. Agents, insurers and solution providers are welcome to attend at no cost to their businesses. Registration isn’t open yet, but the Ivans team will let you know once it is.
Meanwhile, the Agents Council for Technology (ACT) will lead a breakout session on Monday, October 6, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., about the next steps for the “Letters to the Industry” created at last year’s event around four key areas: Data, Connectivity, AI and People/Culture.
The Conference for the Entire Applied Community
The fun doesn’t stop once the aforementioned programs conclude on Monday. The Applied Net party starts late that afternoon and continues through Thursday, October 9. In keeping up with the latest innovations in our industry and the need for better business insights, this year’s theme is (drumroll, please…) the Intelligent Insurance Era. This means the entire event will center around how Applied® is investing in AI, data and connectivity technologies to help you make smarter, more forward-thinking decisions. Before I get into the nitty-gritty of what you can expect, let me set the record straight about a common misconception I’ve heard.
Is Applied Net for carriers? Y-E-S! While ‘Applied’ might be in the event name, this conference offers plenty of unique experiences for carriers. Starting with education. The program promises dozens of sessions (some exclusive to you) on new ways to market and distribute products, service your agents, optimize internal workflows and drive data-driven decision-making. Sessions are broken out by role, so you can easily find the ones that resonate with you most. You’ll also get a first look at the latest Applied, EZLynx® and Ivans® innovations driving digital distribution and servicing. Oh, and let’s not forget about all the networking. You’ll have ample opportunities to reunite with your agency partners and build new relationships with over 4,400 attendees. But that’s not all you can look forward to…
There will also be an inspiring guest keynote speaker and great evening events to give you time to unwind with friends. Plus, I know you all love some fun swag, so you can expect plenty of goodies this year, too!
Is Applied Net worth the investment? I know that registration and travel costs can add up, and it’s hard to take time away from the office, but the value you’ll gain from attending Applied Net is beyond worth it. I could give you a list of reasons why the conference is a good investment, but I thought it might mean more coming from one of your peers.
“I think Applied Net is one of the most worthwhile conferences. While it may be a tech conference, it’s also about building relationships. The connections you make live throughout the years. You can reach out to someone you met in Nashville this year or somebody you met last year in Las Vegas whenever you have a question. It also offers the opportunity to see what Applied is working on and what's coming, as well as meet their team in the exhibit hall for product help.
As a carrier, I truly believe we need to meet our customers where they live. Applied Net is an opportunity to meet a good number of our agencies here and answer their questions. It also allows us to pick their brains and ask them some questions.
Why should you attend Applied Net? There's a cost, but can you put a price on building those connections that will carry you through this year or even ten years down the road? There are friendships formed here that last, I'm going to say, a work lifetime, some of them even beyond the work world. Applied Net is the only place where you can get together with all your peers and have all those opportunities under one roof.” — Joe Clabaugh, Cincinnati Insurance
