Insurtech Boston™ is returning to the House of Blues on May 15, 2025, and it’s shaping up to be the premier Insurtech conference in Massachusetts. You’ll hear from startup trailblazers about their innovative ideas and the companies they built. In addition to featuring startup stories, we are tackling topics that impact all of us: Data strategy and fraud. And once again, we are giving you tons of networking opportunities so you can connect with other forward-thinking insurance professionals who attend.

What’s It All About?

At Insurtech Boston, we love hearing from Insurtech startups and founders about their innovative ideas and the passion they bring to the industry. In addition to showcasing startup stories, we know networking opportunities are one of the reasons attendees come to this event. So, we are giving attendees plenty of time to connect with other forward-thinking insurance professionals. We welcome all insurance startups, carrier executives, venture capitalists, and innovative agents — anyone passionate about shaping the future of insurance technology to participate in this event.

Past Speaker Spotlights

Check out a few video clips of our exceptional speakers from last year to get a taste of the valuable content awaiting you.

Telematics, AI, & the Road to a Safer Future

Matt Fiorentino, VP of Marketing at Cambridge Mobile Telematics, highlighted the number of distracted drivers and the impact that usage-based insurance programs offered by companies like his can make. Matt pointed out that 73% of people admit to using their phone while driving, and 24% of Americans admit to using Instagram while driving. He also had the good news to share that distracted driving dropped by six seconds from 2022 to 2023, and while that doesn’t sound like a lot, every second counts.

Going Beyond Common Assumptions in Insurance

In a thought-provoking segment, Kate Terry, CEO of Surround Insurance, challenged prevailing myths surrounding insurance success. Her insights revolved around five untold truths. Kate’s perspective invites us to reconsider our approach to business and life, emphasizing the importance of humanizing technology and cultivating wisdom and compassion in our practices.

2025 Agenda Sneak Peek

We’re still finalizing our agenda, but I guarantee we’ll cover some of the hottest trends and topics in insurance technology.

Check out what we have so far!

Expert Panel Discussion on Being Data-Driven

Join Kabir Syed, the Founder and CEO of Ennabl, Rory Yates, the SVP of Corporate Strategy Global of EIS Group, and José Luis Bernal, the Chief Digital and Data Officer at MAPFRE USA, as they discuss with me the power of data and how to transform your business to become more data-driven.

Insurtech Spotlights

You’ll gain valuable insights from Insurtech legends on topics like AI and data-driven strategies featuring Michael Vega-Sanz, Co-founder and President of GAIL; Dogan Kaleli, Founder and CEO of Stere.io; Niji Sabharwal, Co-founder and CEO and Jenn Knight, Co-founder and CTO of AgentSync.

AI's Impact on Insurance Fraud

Joe Stephenson, Business Systems Engineer at Lemieux & Associates, will share how deepfakes are created and how to differentiate real videos from fake ones. He will also display the misuse of mobile filters and AI for fraud and discuss the implications of voice cloning on insurance integrity.

Did I Mention Unbelievable Networking?

That’s right. Last year's event was jam-packed, with over 200 attendees and more than five hours of networking, and 2025 will be bigger and better. As we release more details in the coming weeks, we will share them on the Insurtech Boston website. You can also follow us on LinkedIn and subscribe to our newsletter for more information and ticket prices (spoiler, prices are some of the lowest for any insurtech event of this caliber). I can’t wait to see you there!
